This lets the VS Code ZipFS extension recognize and mount JAR, WAR, APK, IPA, and CRX files alongside ZIP files. The VS Code registration and
ZipOpenFSuse the same shared list, and a focused test checks that the manifest stays aligned with the runtime configuration.I used OpenAI Codex (GPT-5.6) with substantive assistance for the implementation, tests, and documentation.
